Quality of Life Lead

About the role

The Quality of Life Lead will drive initiatives that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for residents across Auria Senior Living communities. This role combines leadership, programme design and collaboration to create meaningful, inclusive experiences that promote physical, psychological and social health.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Quality of Life initiatives across all Auria communities.
• Develop, implement and evaluate programmes that promote resident wellbeing, engagement and independence.
• Support communities in delivering inclusive resident experiences and monitor programme effectiveness.
• Identify improvement opportunities, drive innovation and introduce new ideas to enhance resident experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, sharing best practices and ensuring consistency.
• Provide reporting, recommendations and manage service providers and resources for programme delivery.

Required profile

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy or a health‑related science degree.
• 2–3 years of experience in care, wellness or community engagement environments.
• Experience with older persons, dementia care, mental health or therapeutic activities is advantageous.
• Valid practice licence with HPCSA or relevant regulatory body.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.
