Quality Manager / Quality Officer - Substation Projects

About the role
The Quality Manager / Quality Officer will lead quality assurance and control activities for substation and transformer installation projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and Eskom standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee quality control for primary plant, civil works, electrical installation and cabling.
- Verify installations against approved drawings and Eskom standards.
- Manage inspections, test records and commissioning dossiers.
- Coordinate closely with QA, construction and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Required profile
- Engineering qualification.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in substation construction projects.
- Strong understanding of 132kV to 400kV systems, transformer installations, substation layouts and associated equipment.
