Qualified Red Seal Millwright – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Red Seal Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical and electrical plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Fault‑find, repair, maintain, and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Attend to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Install, assemble, align, and dismantle machinery.
• Monitor plant equipment to minimise downtime.
• Conduct inspections and identify maintenance improvements.
• Report breakdowns and monitor repairs through to completion.
• Adhere to OHS policies and procedures.
• Work overtime and respond to call‑outs when required.

Required profile

• Grade 12.
• Red Seal Millwright qualification.
• 4–6 years post‑apprenticeship experience.
• Manufacturing/feed industry experience advantageous.
• PLC, Drives, SCADA, and Automation knowledge.
• Team‑leading/supervisory experience advantageous.
• English and/or Afrikaans communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
• South African citizen and medically fit.
