About the role
Provide pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice and manage day‑to‑day dispensary administration in line with Clicks' Standard Operating Plans. The role supports customers with health advice while ensuring accurate stock and medication handling.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
- Efficient stock control, including repacking of medicines.
- Accurate dispensary administration and compounding.
- Provide general health advice to customers.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
- Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required by operational needs.
Required profile
- Matric with Mathematics (essential).
- Meet Health Professions Council of South Africa requirements for a qualified, post‑basic pharmacist assistant.
- Adherence to principles and values, ability to work with people and deliver results.
- Planning, organising and following instructions and procedures.
Required skills
- Product knowledge of health aisle and OTC items.
- SAPC and relevant legal knowledge.
- Basic calculations.
- IT Business Operating Systems.
- MS Office proficiency.
