About the role
Our client, a well‑established automotive workshop and dealership in Northcliff, Johannesburg, is looking for a hands‑on and reliable Qualified Mechanic (Automotive Technician) to join their service team.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections and repairs to keep vehicles in top condition.
- Communicate with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and required repairs.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
- Stay updated with technical service bulletins, manufacturer protocols and repair methods for the relevant brands.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver efficient, high‑quality service.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Mechanic / Motor Technician (petrol).
- Red Seal qualification.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Residence in Northcliff or surrounding areas (no relocation considered).
Required skills
- Vehicle diagnostics using advanced equipment.
- Petrol engine repair.
