Psychologist – On-site (Cape Town)

About the role

Colleen Law Psychology Practice is seeking a qualified Psychologist to join the team on a contract basis. The role is based on‑site in the City of Cape Town and involves delivering therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples and family therapy using evidence‑based approaches.
• Provide play therapy for children and tailored interventions for adolescents.
• Perform neuropsychological, medico‑legal, educational and career guidance assessments.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in line with HPCSA guidelines.
• Collaborate with the practice owner and external professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to service quality improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology or equivalent.
• Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Ability to work independently on‑site and manage a caseload.
• Strong ethical standards and cultural sensitivity.
• Excellent communication in English; Afrikaans proficiency is an advantage.
