About the role
Zwavelstream Clinic is looking for compassionate nursing professionals to provide high‑quality care in a psychiatric setting. Positions are available for Senior Professional Nurses, Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
- Monitor and support patients, participating in therapeutic interventions.
- Administer prescribed medication and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
Required profile
- Valid registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Relevant nursing qualification for the applied position.
- Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient‑centred approach to care.
