About the role
We are looking for a Protocol Software Developer to join our Pretoria‑East office. The role focuses on designing and implementing network protocol software for Layer 2 and Layer 3 stacks, supporting our international client base with cutting‑edge technology.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and test Layer 2 protocol software components.
- Design, develop and test Layer 3 protocol software components.
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform unit testing.
- Verify the protocol stack against detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to integrate software.
Required profile
- B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering or BEng/BSc in Computer Engineering (or related Computer Science degree).
- 0–5 years of professional software development experience.
- South African citizenship.
