Protection Consultant – CSO

About the role

The Protection Consultant serves as the central coordination point for community‑facing security engagements. You will ensure the physical and technological integrity of security infrastructure across all community installations, while providing oversight to the SSD Department and aligning with broader operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at community installations and outlying sites.
• Conduct site assessments, log visits, and feed upgrade requirements into the project management workflow.
• Coordinate bi‑monthly meetings with UHS leadership and bi‑annual meetings with Jewish International Schools leadership.
• Oversee training for PCT/SCT teams, administrative staff, rabbis, and security personnel.
• Act as primary contact for external protection‑related queries and proactively identify risks.
• Manage security upgrade projects end‑to‑end, including proposals, timelines, contractor coordination, and financial tracking.
• Collaborate with the Control Room to ensure technical infrastructure is functional and integrated.
• Provide oversight of the SSD Department, attend operational meetings, and support HR matters where required.

Required profile

• Proactive approach with ability to identify and address risks early.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in coordinating security projects and training programmes.
• Ability to produce high‑quality reports and maintain accurate documentation.
