Property & Maintenance Coordinator – Africa

About the role

Lovisa is seeking a Property & Maintenance Coordinator for its African store network. You will support the delivery of the company’s maintenance and property strategy, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance across all retail stores, ensuring OH&S compliance and brand standards.
• Manage maintenance requests via ticketing systems, meeting agreed SLA turnaround times.
• Create and issue Work Orders and Purchase Orders for maintenance and property projects.
• Support and coordinate store fit‑outs, upgrades and defect management.
• Source, procure and manage non‑stock items as required.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors, obtaining multiple quotes to control costs.
• Maintain accurate trackers, reports and weekly updates on maintenance activity.
• Assist with invoicing processes, approvals and timely payments.
• Support planned preventative maintenance schedules and supplier performance tracking.

Required profile

• Highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.
• Strong coordination, administration and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience in maintenance coordination, facilities or retail/property environments.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers and negotiate cost‑effective solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong reporting skills.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing and building relationships.
• Willingness to travel to sites as required.

Required skills

• Experience using maintenance or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
