Property Accountant – Full‑time

About the role
We are seeking a Property Accountant to support the Financial Manager of a fast‑growing property investment company in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will handle a range of accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse management accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Compile annual financial statements and coordinate audit preparation.
- Ensure tax compliance in line with South African regulations.
- Produce shareholder reports and support budgeting processes.
- Maintain property‑related accounting records using GreatSoft.
Required profile
- BCom degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Articles or experience in an audit/accounting practice is advantageous.
- SAIPA/SAICA registration is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using the GreatSoft accounting system.
- Knowledge of South African tax compliance.
