Projects Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Projects Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of dredging projects across South Africa. The role oversees all project phases from contract award to completion, ensuring safety, efficiency, schedule adherence and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, resource requirements and budgets for each dredging contract.
• Lead and manage Site Managers and a support team (Assistant Projects Manager, Senior H&S Officer, Asset Manager, Projects Assistant).
• Monitor project progress, production targets and milestones, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of dredgers, excavators and related equipment.
• Maintain compliance with contractual, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Promote company values and safety culture throughout all project teams.

Required profile

• B.Eng or B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8‑15 years of experience managing construction, mining or industrial projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Knowledge of NEC3 and FIDIC contracts.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale projects.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
