Project Planner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join our delivery team in Cape Town. The role will focus on planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting for large‑scale construction and renewable‑energy projects, ensuring integrated schedules support successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project and construction schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with scope, milestones and cost structures.
• Administer the integrated master schedule, coordinate updates with contractors, suppliers and site teams, and manage change control processes.
• Monitor progress against baselines, analyse critical‑path activities and provide recovery or mitigation recommendations.
• Review and integrate contractor and supplier programmes, facilitate planning meetings and support claim and variation assessments.
• Act as a coordination interface on‑site, supporting execution planning, performance monitoring and collaboration with quality, supervision and HSSE teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning large construction or renewable‑energy projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced project environment.
