Project Manager / Site Lead

About the role

Sev1Tech is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Site Lead to support the US Space Force, Space Operations Command (SpOC) and Space Delta 8. The role will oversee day‑to‑day operational support for the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) system across multiple CONUS and OCONUS sites, ensuring the satellite communications capability remains mission‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project activities for the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the WGS system.
• Coordinate with Space Delta 8 personnel to manage satellite communications capabilities.
• Provide timely responses to issues, being reachable within two hours during duty hours and within six hours after duty hours.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and oral briefings as required.
• Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and contract award conditions.

Required profile

• Active US Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 15 years of combined experience in project management, project leadership, satellite communications, and telecommunications.
• Proven ability to conduct presentations and oral briefings.
