Project Manager – Power Grid Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager you will lead complex power‑grid projects, ensuring they meet cost, schedule, staffing and quality targets while complying with ISO standards. You will work independently, guide junior staff and contribute to business transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, financial plans, schedules and risk documentation in collaboration with the Project Lead and Controller.
• Monitor progress, resource utilization, invoicing, costs, expenses and cash flow.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, capture lessons learned and drive formal project closure and customer acceptance.
• Negotiate and procure services, materials and equipment from internal and external suppliers.
• Coordinate with engineering, service and commissioning teams for high‑ and medium‑voltage installations.
• Serve as primary customer contact and escalation point for project issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental policies and all relevant regulations.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience managing power‑grid, high‑voltage substation or transformer projects.
• Proven ability to work with procedures, instructions and process workflows.
• Strong communication, organization and independent decision‑making skills.
• International commercial knowledge and ability to meet tight deadlines.
