Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of IT‑related projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. This full‑time position is based in Cape Town and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and allocate resources.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication across sponsors, teams and stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with organisational standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and conduct post‑project evaluations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects, preferably in an IT environment.
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master).

Required skills

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project management methodologies.
