Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, high‑technology engineering projects from initiation to delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required technical and quality standards while satisfying both internal objectives and external customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a robust project management structure and multidisciplinary team.
• Initiate projects, run kick‑off meetings and coordinate all stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost and technical objectives using disciplined change control.
• Utilise project execution, monitoring and control tools (including SAP and PMO KPIs) to track progress.
• Deliver contracted milestones and integrated solutions to end users.
• Negotiate major contract scope and requirement changes when required.
• Plan resources, budgeting, scheduling, risk and issue management in line with approved business cases.
• Allocate and monitor project resources, workload and monthly delivery forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum technical qualification – preferably BSc or BEng in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management, operational management and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to lead non‑co‑located, multidisciplinary teams.
• Formal training in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or equivalent.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of project planning techniques, tools and methodologies.
• Working knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK and Agile project/programme management.
• Experience with SAP for project monitoring.
• Expertise in scope and change management within complex environments.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership, product lifecycle costing and manufacturing processes for complex systems.
• Application of systems engineering principles and systems thinking.
