Project Manager

About the role

ACCIONA Energía, the world’s largest 100% renewable energy company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of renewable power plant projects in the Western Cape. You will coordinate schedule, budget, procurement, engineering, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Update and report monthly project schedules and execution status to senior management and steering committees.
• Supervise and approve monthly budget revisions, manage cash‑flow analysis, and process invoice requests under EPC contracts.
• Identify required services and supplies, oversee RFQ processes, and act as key negotiator with procurement stakeholders.
• Manage engineering requirements during the execution phase and ensure technical documentation is complete.
• Maintain direct communication with all project stakeholders, enforce contractual terms with the SPV, and support client compliance.
• Guide the Site Manager in generating construction and As‑Built documentation and ensure proper filing with the Document Controller.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale renewable energy projects (wind or photovoltaic).
• Strong understanding of EPC contracts, budgeting, and cash‑flow management.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and liaise with external partners.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
