Project Manager II – Biometrics (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

MMS, an award‑winning clinical research organization, is seeking a Project Manager II to lead biometrics and data‑focused projects on a remote basis within South Africa. You will manage moderate‑complexity projects, ensuring financial performance, timeline adherence, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop budgets and financial KPIs for moderate‑complexity projects and ensure on‑time invoicing.
• Control project scope using defined PM methodology and manage change requests.
• Create and maintain independent project timelines, using Microsoft Project to identify critical path milestones.
• Identify risks, escalate issues, and work with functional leads to resolve trends.
• Drive customer satisfaction, manage at least one key account, and contribute to a minimum 10% annual revenue growth.
• Participate in RFIs/RFPs, capability meetings, and bid defenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in biometrics, data management, biostatistics, or statistical programming.
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO 9001:2000 standards.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel skills (HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP).
• Strong command of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
