Project Manager – Cold Storage & Pack House

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the design and build of cold storage, pack house and related facilities for the fruit industry. You will own each project from the first client conversation through to final hand‑over, shaping design, sequencing work and driving construction to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full project plans from client brief to execution.
• Coordinate appointment of professional teams in consultation with clients and stakeholders.
• Set up and manage communication and project‑management systems.
• Oversee design development, ensuring budget and timeline compliance.
• Facilitate integration across disciplines and supply contracts.
• Manage tender processes, contractor appointments and JBCC contract administration.
• Monitor health and safety, procurement and statutory compliance.
• Track construction progress, quality and conduct site meetings.
• Lead project hand‑over, final accounts and close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in facility design.
• Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle from planning to hand‑over.
• Experience with tender processes and JBCC contract administration.
