Project Coordinator – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

Our client, a US‑based remote team specializing in WordPress and Shopify development, is looking for a detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to support website projects. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will help keep internal and external teams aligned, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Track project timelines, monitor task completion, and flag scope changes.
• Coordinate daily assignments between internal staff and agency partners.
• Maintain project boards in Asana using Kanban methodology.
• Perform basic content updates in WordPress or Shopify (copy, images, layouts) using Elementor.
• Navigate GitHub repositories for user‑level QA testing.
• Identify bottlenecks and support process‑improvement initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders about status, deliverables, and milestones.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in a digital or web‑development agency.
• Proven ability to manage teams and enforce processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self‑starter who can work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
