Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join a leading shopfitting and interior fit‑out company in Pretoria. Working closely with the Project Management team, you will help drive multiple projects from planning through installation, ensuring timelines, documentation and logistics are tightly managed.

Key responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning, execution and completion of shopfitting projects.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, specifications and records.
• Prepare and distribute project packs, agendas, minutes and action trackers.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to coordinate site access and logistics.
• Track milestones, follow up on outstanding actions and keep documentation up‑to‑date.
• Assist with procurement, supplier quotations and purchase order processing.
• Monitor material orders, delivery schedules and ensure availability for production and installation.
• Support cost tracking, budget monitoring and variation order administration.
• Coordinate installation schedules, submit health and safety documentation and monitor site progress.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Project Management, Construction Management, Interior Design, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably in shopfitting, construction, manufacturing or interior fit‑out.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
