About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with theatre experience to join Isipingo Hospital’s operating theatre team. The role involves delivering age‑appropriate patient care in line with South African Nursing Council standards and supporting surgical procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Provide patient care according to the nursing scope of practice defined by SANC.
- Follow all hospital policies, regulations and infection‑control procedures.
- Lead, supervise and mentor theatre staff.
- Attend to patient complaints and ensure timely documentation.
- Participate in theatre call duties as required.
Required profile
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an operating theatre.
- Ability to lead and supervise staff effectively.
- Professional communication skills and adherence to company policies.
Required skills
- Computer literate – proficient in MS Word.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
