Production Support Analyst - 12 Months Contract

About the role

Our client is seeking a Production Support Analyst on a 12‑month contract to ensure the stability and continuous operation of banking and finance systems. The role involves monitoring, analysing and resolving production incidents while liaising with technical teams and business users to minimise disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily system checks and resolve any anomalies.
• Handle incidents and support calls for Pricing and Billing, including user liaison, data analysis and remedial actions with system owners.
• Provide Pricing and Billing support such as audit queries, data checks, clean‑up and SQL data extracts.
• Act as first‑line technical SME for the Zafin service, delivering data extracts, analysis and corrections.
• Resolve first‑line queries from Business and Sales users in the TxB Pricing and Billing environment.
• Conduct regular system and data checks required by operational processes (e.g., Incident Management, Privileged Account Management).

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5‑8 years of application support experience, with at least 3 years supporting banking platforms and SQL‑based environments.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with incident/problem management (ITIL).
• Knowledge of Pricing & Billing platforms such as Zafin is advantageous.
• Relevant professional certifications in IT support or system administration are a plus.
