Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join IFF’s Midrand site, overseeing production, warehouse and inventory operations. The role is on‑site and will coordinate daily activities to ensure safe, efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities, execute schedules and adjust priorities to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Monitor production performance, resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with GMP, safety and quality standards.
• Oversee material receipt, storage, staging, issuing, movement and dispatch, guaranteeing material availability for production.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts, physical inventories and ERP transactions.
• Manage material flow between warehouse and production areas and ensure warehouse operations meet site requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, coordinating production, warehouse or inventory activities.
• Experience working with frontline operational teams and knowledge of inventory management and material handling processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
