Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a manufacturing plant in Rosslyn, ensuring that products are produced safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will oversee up to 60 production staff and coordinate with multiple departments to meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adjust production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Allocate resources, including raw materials, manpower, and equipment.
• Monitor and control budgetary aspects of man, machine, and material.
• Enforce strict quality assurance standards.
• Organise preventive maintenance and rapid repairs of factory machinery.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate production personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
• Identify bottlenecks and apply lean practices to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, logistics, and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production teams in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and workflow optimisation.
• Ability to resolve technical equipment failures and supply‑chain disruptions quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team motivation and conflict resolution.
