Production Supervisor

About the role
The Production Supervisor leads all production and warehouse activities within a licensed pharmaceutical distribution centre. This role ensures that daily throughput targets are met while maintaining strict compliance with South African health regulations and industry best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production and warehouse operations to achieve daily output goals.
- Ensure full compliance with SAHPRA regulations, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Warehousing Practice (GWP), and the Medicines and Related Substances Act.
- Oversee the accuracy and integrity of pharmaceutical stock throughout the facility.
- Manage the performance, conduct, and development of warehouse staff.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.
Required profile
- Proven experience supervising production or warehouse teams in a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution regulations and standards.
- Ability to lead, develop, and motivate staff.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
