Product Manager – Digital Transformation

About the role

Sanlam is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of innovative, advice‑led digital solutions. You will act as a technology leader, user advocate and strategist, driving product vision from ideation through launch and eventual sunset.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user and market research to uncover needs, willingness to pay and competitive insights.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders, gather feedback and align expectations.
• Define product mission, vision and maintain a roadmap that prioritises high‑impact features.
• Write clear product requirement documents (PRDs) and press releases, ensuring they are iterative and responsive.
• Set success metrics and KPIs covering adoption, satisfaction, commercial impact and reliability.
• Lead product launches, collaborate with marketing and sales, and proactively address product issues.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product management experience in a modern, cloud‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to own and manage budgets, including storage, compute and team development costs.
• Track record of delivering high‑impact products and continuous personal development.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience building and motivating high‑performing, autonomous product teams.
