Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management

About the role

TIH is seeking a Procurement Manager to drive efficient sourcing, cost control and contract management across its portfolio of financial service providers. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business strategy and BBBEE objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market dynamics, cost drivers and supplier alternatives to provide robust data for decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with BBBEE preferential procurement targets and the Code of Good Practice.
• Develop and manage Requests for Proposals, evaluate bids and award contracts in line with compliance requirements.
• Monitor and report on procurement spend, identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Set performance objectives for the procurement team, track results and take corrective actions as needed.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, understand their needs and communicate procurement strategies effectively.
• Draft specifications, negotiate service‑level agreements and oversee contract lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost accounting and spend analysis.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate favourable terms.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior management.
• Knowledge of South African BBBEE regulations and procurement best practices.
