Procurement Manager – Sourcing & Supplier Management (Hybrid, Johannesburg or Cape Town)

About the role

This is a strong opportunity for a procurement professional focused on end‑to‑end sourcing, supplier management and cost optimisation within a high‑performing Big 4 advisory environment. The position can be based in Johannesburg or Cape Town and offers a total compensation up to R1.4 million per annum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end sourcing engagements across multiple categories, leading RFI, RFQ and RFP processes.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts through award and implementation.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and technical stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives and achieve measurable cost savings.
• Support client‑facing procurement transformation initiatives while remaining hands‑on in supplier performance management and contract lifecycle oversight.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain within consulting or large corporate environments.
• Proven ability to manage full sourcing cycles, evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Experience in complex sectors such as mining, resources or heavy industry.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with senior business leaders.
• Relevant degree in supply chain or commerce; CIPS qualification advantageous.
