Process Engineer – Manufacturing & Industrialisation

About the role

The Process Engineer will support the industrialisation, optimisation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for high‑technology opto‑mechatronic products. You will design, validate and commission production solutions that ensure quality, throughput and lifecycle sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage industrialisation requirements in collaboration with engineering, operations and production teams.
• Design and optimise manufacturing processes, flow diagrams, PFMEA structures and control plans.
• Support the implementation, commissioning and release of production lines, tooling, jigs, fixtures and documentation.
• Validate processes, throughput capability, control plans and measurement systems during pre‑production.
• Provide technical process support, supplier collaboration and continuous improvement in production environments.

Required profile

• BEng degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis within a manufacturing or industrialisation setting.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, throughput and capacity analysis.
• Experience in high‑tech or defence manufacturing environments is advantageous.
