Pricing Specialist – Contract

About the role

Develop and manage competitive pricing strategies and models for products, services and customer solutions. The role involves analysing costs, margins and market trends, preparing pricing proposals, and collaborating with finance, sales and marketing teams to support profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pricing strategies for new products, services and markets and obtain Executive Committee approval.
• Research market relevance, perform cost‑vs‑margin analysis and present findings to senior management.
• Prepare and facilitate pricing proposals, securing approval from the pricing committee during tenders and projects.
• Negotiate pricing with customers where required and manage pricing audit findings with finance, sales and marketing.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual pricing reports covering proposals, break‑even points, customer profitability and market trends.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Pricing Analyst or in a comparable role.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the telecommunications sector and in developing pricing structures.
• CIMA professional registration is an advantage.
• Strong orientation to detail, market research and statistical analysis.
