Premium FMCG Sales Representative (On Trade)

About the role

Join a leading distributor of premium alcohol brands and own the Gauteng North territory (Sandton, Lonehill, Fourways, Woodmead, Randburg, Melrose, Sandringham, Corlett). You will build strong relationships with on‑trade outlets and grow iconic brands in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Boost brand visibility by ensuring premium products dominate shelves and menus.
• Develop and execute creative sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
• Lead promotional campaigns that deliver ROI and strengthen brand equity.
• Engage consumers, create memorable experiences and gather market insights.
• Maintain operational excellence: manage call cycles, reporting, outlet coding and asset upkeep.
• Keep promotional stock and company vehicle in optimal condition.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in premium beverage/FMCG on‑trade sales within Johannesburg.
• Strong product and category knowledge.
• Understanding of marketing and accounting principles for promotion management.
• Computer literacy and ability to work with digital reporting tools.
• Excellent negotiation, customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, big‑picture thinker with the ability to work independently.
• Endurance for extended field‑based hours and a valid driver’s licence.
