Pre-Sales Engineer – Nutanix (Enterprise Solutions)

About the role

Join the Enterprise Solutions team as a Pre‑Sales Engineer focused on Nutanix‑based hybrid cloud solutions. You will act as a technical advisor and solutions architect, helping South African enterprises design, evaluate and adopt public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical face of the business during customer engagements, industry events, presentations, demos and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Build business cases and solution proposals together with C‑level executives and technology partners.
• Collaborate with sales teams to design tailored infrastructure solutions and evaluate tenders.
• Contribute to pricing strategies and ensure competitive, accurate quotes.
• Stay current on cloud, hyper‑converged and virtualization trends and share knowledge internally.
• Coach internal teams and new hires on the latest enterprise technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of pre‑sales experience in enterprise infrastructure or software.
• Strong understanding of enterprise storage, networking, virtualization and cloud ecosystems.
• Matric with Mathematics; tertiary qualification or certifications in convergence technologies is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and time‑management skills.

What we offer

• On‑target earnings of R90 000 per month, dependent on experience.
