Practice Manager – Multidisciplinary Medical Centre

About the role

The Practice Manager will oversee the full operational management of a multidisciplinary medical centre in Montana, Pretoria. This senior role ensures efficient administration, high‑quality patient service, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organisational policies and healthcare legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all branch operations, including clinical support, front‑office processes and service delivery, while aligning with national operational strategy and ethical standards.
• Manage relationships among health professionals, administrative staff, patients and corporate leadership, fostering a patient‑centred culture.
• Monitor operational costs, turnover and financial performance; prepare budget variance reports and identify efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation, ethical standards and regulatory requirements; participate in audits and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and staff development, ensuring effective supervision and scheduling.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or Practice Management.
• Proven experience as a Practice Manager in a multidisciplinary medical environment.
• Strong knowledge of South African healthcare legislation and ethical standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets and drive operational improvements.
