About the role

The Multi‑Franchise Dealership group seeks an experienced Dealer Principal to lead its Commercial Vehicle operation in Polokwane. This senior executive will drive strategic growth, ensure financial health, and foster a high‑performance culture across sales, service, and parts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute aggressive strategies to exceed volume, profit, and market‑share targets.
• Oversee budgeting, expense control, cash‑flow management, asset optimisation and inventory levels.
• Direct all business units – new & used commercial sales, workshop/after‑sales, parts and administration – to maximise efficiency.
• Lead, mentor and develop departmental managers and workshop staff, handling recruitment, performance reviews and training.
• Maintain strong relationships with OEM partners and ensure 100% compliance with manufacturer and group standards.
• Promote a customer‑centric environment, monitor competitor activity and launch targeted marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a General Manager or Dealer Principal in a franchised commercial vehicle dealership.
• Proven ability to manage a workshop throughput of ~1,800 hours and sell ~30 units per month.
• Preferably resident in or originally from Limpopo.
• Valid, unendorsed South African driver’s licence.
