Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to own and evolve our production Kubernetes platform. You will work hands‑on to ensure reliability, scalability, observability and security while enabling development teams to deliver quickly through robust CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage production Kubernetes clusters (high availability, scaling, security).
• Administer multi‑cluster environments using Rancher and develop Helm charts for all environments.
• Design, build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Azure infrastructure with Terraform following IaC best practices.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortems.
• Implement infrastructure improvements to remove single points of failure and optimise cloud costs.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment processes and platform reliability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong production Kubernetes experience (CKA certification advantageous).
• Extensive Terraform experience managing Azure resources.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Go, Python or Bash scripting.
• Solid Linux administration and networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, routing, ingress controllers, service‑mesh fundamentals).
• Hands‑on production support, incident response and on‑call experience.
