Plant Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial reporting and control functions at the plant level within a global, fast‑paced organization. The role ensures compliance with international accounting standards and drives cost‑efficiency initiatives in the automotive manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Apply international accounting standards (IBS) at plant level and prepare monthly reporting statements.
• Analyze economic results, propose cost‑reduction strategies and improve economic efficiency.
• Execute monthly and annual financial accounting closures and prepare quarterly plant statements.
• Monitor performance against budget/forecast and provide regular financial performance indicators to management.
• Support continuous improvement of budgeting, reconcile plant reports with financial data, and supply analysis to other departments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, SOX, and represent the plant during audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or studying towards).
• Minimum 5 years of financial/accounting experience in manufacturing, preferably multinational.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Own transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Familiarity with OneStream (advantage).
