Physician with Engineering Degree – Non‑Clinical Consulting Role

About the role

BRC, a nationally recognized consulting firm, is seeking board‑certified physicians who also hold an engineering degree to join its team in San Antonio. This full‑time, non‑clinical position focuses on the objective analysis of how forces and accelerations affect the human body to determine injury mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct biomechanical and engineering analyses of injury scenarios.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop injury‑causation models.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients.
• Stay current with advances in biomechanics, aerospace, and medical engineering.

Required profile

• Board certification in Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, Aerospace Medicine, or Surgery.
• At least several years of clinical practice.
• Practical experience or formal education in engineering (bachelor’s level or higher).
• Willingness to relocate to San Antonio, Texas.
