Pharmacy Sales Representative – JHB East Rand

About the role

The Pharmacy Sales Representative will promote and sell a leading pharmaceutical company's products across the Johannesburg East Rand territory. You will work directly with independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups, and corporate pharmacy chains to grow market share and build lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan targeting all pharmacy types.
• Visit pharmacies regularly to present product portfolios and secure orders.
• Manage inventory levels and product orders to ensure continuous supply.
• Maintain detailed records of visits, contacts, and sales activities.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Conduct product training and demonstrations for pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with marketing and prescription teams on launches and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with pharmacists and key decision‑makers.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Good organisational and reporting abilities.
• Understanding of compliance and ethical sales practices.
