Pharmacy Sales Representative – Gauteng South & Vaal

About the role

The Pharmacy Sales Representative will cover the Gauteng South and Vaal territory, promoting a leading pharmaceutical brand to independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups and corporate chains. The role focuses on expanding market presence, driving sales and building lasting relationships with pharmacists and key decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan targeting all pharmacy formats.
• Visit pharmacies regularly to present product range, negotiate orders and ensure continuous stock.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and report performance to management.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, orders and customer interactions in a CRM database.
• Provide product updates, handle enquiries and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports, market analysis and competitive intelligence for strategic review.
• Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations for pharmacy staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and proper use of company credit cards.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and product stocking processes.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a territory and meet deadlines.
