Pharmacy Manager

About the role

Medirite River Park is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team and ensure smooth, efficient operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy service delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary pharmacy team, including staff, interns and assistants.
• Manage individual dispensing activities and ensure accurate, timely medication delivery.
• Oversee pharmacy administration, housekeeping, stock control and customer service.
• Drive sales, compliance, and marketing campaigns to meet business targets.
• Plan operational work, set priorities, schedule staff and monitor performance.
• Handle capacity management, resourcing and cross‑functional relationships with prescribers, suppliers, head office, store manager and cash office.
• Resolve escalated operational issues and manage the pharmacy budget.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Ability to develop, tutor and discipline team members.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on operational planning and performance monitoring.
