Pharmacy Assistant (QPB) – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

The Pharmacy Assistant (QPB) will support the dispensary at Clicks Silver Oaks by delivering high‑quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. This full‑time position requires adherence to the company’s Standard Operating Plans and a strong focus on customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice.
• Perform dispensary administration, including accurate compounding and repacking of medicines.
• Maintain efficient stock control, merchandise display, and housekeeping standards.
• Offer general health advice and product knowledge on health‑aisle and OTC items.
• Handle ad‑hoc operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Matric with Maths (essential).
• Qualified as a Pharmacist Assistant according to the Health Professions Council of South Africa (qualified, post‑basic, or learner basic).
• Strong integrity, ethical work practice, and attention to detail.
• Team‑player with a customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• SAPC system proficiency.
• MS Office competency.
• Basic calculation ability.
