About the role
The Pharmacy Assistant supports the pharmacy department by collecting and delivering pharmaceutical items and related documents throughout the hospital. The role ensures timely and safe transport of medicines, adhering to storage and handling standards.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and deliver pharmaceutical products and documentation between hospital units and stores.
- Provide messenger and administrative services to the pharmacy team.
Required profile
- Minimum education: Grade 10.
- Preferred experience: 1–2 years in a private hospital environment (experience not mandatory).
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and follow safety procedures.
Required skills
- Knowledge of storage conditions for pharmaceutical products.
- Understanding of cold chain policy.
- Handling of hazardous substances.
