Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist to join the Clicks Edgemead dispensary in Goodwood. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality pharmaceutical care while meeting sales and compliance targets in a busy retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medicines, including generic substitution, and provide patient counselling in line with SAPC regulations.
• Manage dispensary operations such as stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping and administrative tasks.
• Drive customer service initiatives to enhance loyalty, club‑card participation and overall customer experience.
• Train and mentor Pharmacist Assistants and Interns to ensure competence and compliance.
• Collaborate with centre managers, suppliers and distribution centres to achieve business objectives.
• Integrate pharmacy services with the on‑site clinic to offer a comprehensive health‑care solution.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) registration.
• Retail pharmacy experience, preferably with Unisolve system exposure.
• Understanding of stock, cost, risk and compliance management procedures.
• Ability to work towards dispensary and clinic performance targets.
• Strong ethical practice and commitment to company values.
