Pharmacist – Queenstown

About the role

The Pharmacist will support TB HIV Care’s district offices and health facilities in Queenstown by providing expert advice on pharmacy operations, clinical guidelines and the SyNCH information system. This role combines pharmacy knowledge with ICT training to ensure accurate medication management across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to pharmacy and SyNCH related queries from district management and health facilities.
• Provide training on the SyNCH platform to Department of Health (DOH) district officials and ICT staff.
• Assist with guideline and formulary management, including medicine regimen queries.
• Monitor and support the use of the pharmacy software system across all facilities.
• Collaborate with sub‑district and district ICT teams on health‑sector technology matters.

Required profile

• Qualified pharmacist with experience in public‑health settings.
• Strong understanding of HIV/TB treatment protocols and medication management.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SyNCH pharmacy information system.
• Experience using pharmacy software applications.
• Basic ICT skills and ability to deliver training.
