Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (Rx) – Western Cape

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (Rx) to manage an established territory in the Western Cape. You will build trusted relationships with general practitioners, promote our Rx portfolio and drive prescription growth.

Key responsibilities

• Detail Rx pharmaceutical products directly to doctors, primarily GPs.
• Plan and execute a structured doctor call cycle across the assigned territory.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product indications, clinical benefits and scientific developments.
• Analyse territory performance, monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
• Achieve sales targets and performance objectives.
• Complete CRM entries, call reports and other administrative tasks.

Required profile

• BSc or related health‑science degree (human biology, anatomy or physiology).
• Minimum two years of pharmaceutical sales experience with direct Rx detailing to doctors.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
