About the role

The City of Ekurhuleni is looking for a Pest Control Assistant specialized in vector control. The role supports operational processes, ensures compliance with safety, governance and risk management standards, and contributes to effective pest management services.

Key responsibilities

Perform operational processes related to pest and vector control.
Ensure governance and risk management compliance.
Apply financial processes as required.
Implement a customer service orientation.
Manage people involved in pest control activities.

Required profile

Grade 12 qualification or on‑job training within the department.
Ability to read and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
1–3 years of experience in a similar environment.
