Personal Injury & RAF Attorney (5+ yrs experience)

About the role

Our client, a reputable legal practice in Cape Town CBD, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury and Road Accident Fund (RAF) Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will handle complex injury claims from start to finish, providing high‑quality legal representation to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage personal injury and RAF matters from inception through settlement or trial.
• Conduct client interviews, gather evidence, and prepare legal documentation.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Provide strategic advice to senior partners on case strategy and risk assessment.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years post‑admission experience as an attorney.
• Demonstrated expertise in personal injury and RAF litigation.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.

Required skills

• Strong legal research and drafting abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Proficiency with case management software commonly used in South African law firms.
