Permanent Store Assistant – Retail (uMhlanga Ridge)

About the role
Join GANT’s flagship store in uMhlanga Ridge as a Permanent Store Assistant. You will be the face of the brand, delivering premium customer experiences while supporting daily store operations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cash desk duties with zero variances, manage daily cash control and banking processes.
- Execute stock procedures, handle customer orders, conduct weekly stock counts, and maintain storeroom organization.
- Complete shoe pairing exercises to ensure display integrity.
- Provide expert product knowledge, styling advice, and build strong customer relationships.
- Uphold brand standards through meticulous store presentation and professionalism.
Required profile
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
- 6 months to 1 year retail experience, preferably in luxury or fashion.
- Passion for high‑end fashion, footwear and customer engagement.
